    Description

    a very fine and authentic (-made for ritual use, not for tourists) BOBO or GURUNSI mask from Burkina Faso, dating back to the early 20th century or before. The mask is made of hardwood, the surface partially colored with pigments.
    The mask comes from a German collection. I have once purchased the object at an estate auction.
    The height of the mask is 28 cm or approx. 11 inches.
    A purpose made metal stand will be included (not the one to be seen on the photos).
