Description
Up for auction is an Engineers Factory Floor Rendering.A Real Blueprint from the turn of the century of a
Ford Model T chassis side elevation.
What an awesome collectors item.
This is a copy of the original made on 100% real Blueprint paper.
It is made the old fashioned way.
Made from ammonia blueprint printing method that give it a look that is second to none.
The original came from the River Rouge Plant in Dearborn, Michigan where it was almost destroyed during the demolition of a building.
The blueprint depicts the part numbers and is very detailed.
It measures 24 x 36 inches.
This is the true heritage of the Ford Motor Company where it all began. There are several engineers signatures on the print in one corner and the revision dates and initials in another corner.
The Engineers drawing was created on March 23
rd
1909; there are 9 revisions to this drawing from April 15
th
1909 through February 27
th
1911. It shows the engine parts, dash, chassis and everything in between. Henry Ford overseen every nut and bolt down to the thread count.
I mounted mine in an oak frame and had it tripled matted. Also showed is another mounting using single matting.
The frame or matting is not included
.
Excuse any camera flash. There are no big white spots on the print.
Frame needed 36"x 24" w/ matting. This can be done at Hobby Lobby or buy the frame and matting from there and do it yourself.
Optional Picture Light will give it the executive look for an office.
This can be framed to look like it cost several hundred $$.
Or just pin it up on the wall in the garage.
Once these are gone no more copies will be sold.
All blueprinting has stopped whereas CAD plotting now rules.
I will ship this in a
USPS Priority Mail
protective tube and Fast.
