the chest is 18" across
I am an adult and I wore these. These were not owned by a teenager/child. I normally wear a medium in woman's sized clothing and these fit me. They are comparable to a Juniors size medium--meaning they will fit snugly but not too small for a woman's size medium. Please measure one of your own long sleeved shirts and compare the measurements to these.
Pre-owned. When I washed them, they never went in the dryer--always laid flat on a drying rack.
